Devotees Rejoice: Ram Mandir Opens for Darshan Tomorrow with Announced Timings

The foundation stone laying ceremony for the prestigious Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was completed with grandeur on January 22. Starting from tomorrow, January 23, the Ram temple will be open for general devotees. The Ram Mandir Tirtha Kshetra Committee has announced the timings for devotees’ darshan and Ramlala Aarti.

According to the Sri Rama Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra website, devotees have the opportunity to witness Ramlala darshan from 7 am to 11.30 am, and again from 2 pm to 7 pm every day. The sanctum sanctorum doors are closed for a few hours between these time slots.

Aarti is performed twice daily for the idol of Ramlala in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum, at 6.30 am and 7.30 pm. However, common people are not allowed inside the temple during the aarti. Devotees interested in witnessing the Harati ceremony need to obtain a special pass, which can be acquired online from the pilgrimage website or offline from the camp office in Janmabhoomi. A valid ID is required to obtain the pass. It is estimated that one to one and a half lakh devotees visit Ramla every day.
